The Floë Induratec 868 Integrated Water Drain-Down System features a built in 230v compressor. So to drain down your Holiday home, you simply turn off your water stop tap, making sure your boiler and any other appliances that use water i.e. washing machines are also turned off. Many folks, myself included, just open the taps and the drain valve and walk away. And have never experienced any frost damage throughout many very harsh winters. If you have a static park home or a holiday home with a closed water system (no water tanks in the attic), then it is important to drain down the tank in the winter to avoid freezing pipes and boilers in the winter to ensure you can enjoy it in the summer months. This is a great product. I’m not great at DIY but this is so simple to install and only took 20 minutes to fit to my ABI Westwood.
