We will make sure they are packed carefully for safe transit – Unfortunately broken or melted eggs cannot be replaced or refunded. The bar is maybe 1/2 in diameter and about as long as a Twix bar is, with thick ridges (“twists”) running all along the bar. Previously, the fondant Creme Egg center was available as a filling in the Cadbury Dairy Milk line, but that has since then been phased out with the Creme Egg Twisted replacing it. Obviously designed to look like it’s been twisted, the chocolate has a thick base, while the top is made of thinner chocolate and vaguely resembles a screw thread. These are apparently popular in other parts of the word so maybe not as weird as they may seem to us Brits.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. I like the mini Cadbury Creme Eggs because they have a little bit better ratio of chocolate to filling for my tastes, but I recently got to try a Cadbury Creme Egg Twisted, which was even better. Even if the sugary fondant center is a bit too much to handle all at once, the creamy milk chocolate and the gooey filling is a delicious combination. This is a step forward for Cadbury, not because of what’s in it, but because of how the bar is branded.

We guarantee that the products we deliver are prepared clean, packed with care and sealed with safety. Despite having kept my hands clean while eating it out of the wrapper, the experience just wan't the same as a real Cadbury Creme Egg, and I don't think I enjoyed it nearly as much. Like regular Creme Eggs, these aren't made with Dairy Milk chocolate but are vegetarian friendly, described as "Milk chocolates with a soft fondant centre (40%)". seems to be that despite it still retaining the great creme egg taste its a little disappointing considering this is what Cadbury’s deem as their ‘most exciting innovation of the year’…. Yes, true to style my first review of the year is in stark contrast to all the festive goodies of the last few weeks, and is Easter-themed. I think flies would even turn their nose up at this thing, which looked like rotten infested seaweed. A similar, limited-edition 180g Dairy Milk bar filled with Creme Egg fondant hit the Australasian market in 2019, but didn’t reach UK supermarkets. If you've sorely missed Cadbury Dream White Chocolate since it was withdrawn from UK shelves many years ago, fear not, it's going to be back for Summer, albeit in a colder form - yes, ice cream!

While I do love my chocolate from time to time, that chocolate egg is just a little too realistic looking. Despite having all the same ingredients as its older sibling, there’s no trace of the words “Dairy Milk” on this bar.

What’s more, Cadbury will support its Creme Egg brand with its ‘Find the winning egg’ campaign for a third year in 2024. We cannot deliver during specific time slots, but if you aren't going to be home, we are happy to deliver to an alternative address such as work, family or friends. However, excitement for Twisted waned over time, leading to Cadbury’s decision to withdraw the product four years later. So, more than a decade after Twisted’s exit, is Creme Egg’s latest chocolate bar better positioned for success?
